Do I Need Asbestos Non-Licensed Training (Cat B)?

However, the fact that you are asking yourself this question does raise concerns and you should speak to one of the experts at Oracle to confirm your needs. If you answer YES to this question, then you must now answer the second question:
Does the work that I intend to do on asbestos require me to undertake work to high risk licensed materials?
If you do not know the answer to this question because you do not understand the difference between licensed or non-licensed asbestos work, then you need to speak to a member of the Oracle team for further advice. How Long Does the Asbestos Training take?
You have answered the questions and require non licensed asbestos training. The next questions is “how long does it take?”. This will depend on whether you have previously had asbestos awareness training. If you have, then the training is typically half day or 4 hours. If not, then the training will be a full day or 8 hours.
Remember training does not prove competency and this is something that the regulations say you must prove when working with asbestos. In addition non-licensed training is only the first step you need if you are going to work on non-licensed asbestos products.
How much does it cost?
The cost of UKATA certified Asbestos Non-Licensed (Cat B) training is a little as £99 (not including Cat A part.
